Effective contract management in estate services is crucial for ensuring high-quality performance and tenant satisfaction.

However, landlords regularly report being in dispute with suppliers over performance and compliance concerns and cost management struggles.

These complexities can impact service quality and operational efficiency.

The introduction of Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs) has brought a renewed focus on how well estate services contracts meet tenant needs. The new TSMs emphasise the importance of transparency, responsiveness, and quality in housing management, with estate teams now adapt their practices and policies.

Our upcoming HQN best practice group session will tackle these pressing issues head-on. We’ll explore common challenges such as developing the right scope, measuring contractor performance, compliance with legal and environmental regulations, and the benefits of insourcing versus outsourcing.

This session will provide members with the opportunity to discuss and share the opportunities and challenges they are facing around contract management and to share best practice in a confidential setting.

Why you should come to the best practice group:

    • Great way to find out what others are doing
    • Good, honest and open discussions
    • Sharing best practice and ideas with others in similar roles
    • Acts as a sense-check about what people are doing or thinking of doing.

Best practice groups are a great way of engaging with your network/hub members.

We look forward to seeing you there!
