The Asset Management Network is pleased to announce its latest best practice group on addressing sustainability through your asset management strategy.

Jody Sanderson, Assistant Director of Asset Management and Sustainability at Settle, will join us to outline their innovative partnership with two other housing associations across Hertfordshire, Greener Herts, and discuss how that fits within their wider asset management strategy and sustainability aims.

This will be facilitated by Chloe Fletcher, HQN Director, who has worked with councils and ALMOs on asset management issues and the Decent Homes Standard among other things for over 20 years.

     We’ll cover:

    • Addressing sustainability through your asset management strategy
    • Awaab’s Law – how you’re preparing
    • Roundtable discussion.

We’re keen to encourage all attendees to share their experiences and issues on both sustainability and preparations for Awaab’s Law, as well as bringing along any niggling issues, updates on recent work or questions for the group.

Best practice groups are free to members and are a fantastic opportunity to hear about what’s happening in the sector and network with fellow housing professionals.

Why you should come to the best practice group:

    • Great way to find out what others are doing
    • Good, honest and open discussions
    • Sharing best practice and ideas with others in similar roles
    • Acts as a sense-check about what people are doing or thinking of doing.
