We will have a group discussion on tenancy sustainment approaches and income management work as well as a quick round up of what organisations are planning to do in terms of the annual rent increase – amounts and any mitigations being put in place for those not covered by HB/UC.

We will also be joined by Tom Clarke, senior consultant at CACI, who provide a range of data services to clients, part of which can identify potentially vulnerable customers so that you can ensure you are providing them with the right customer support.  Tom will outline how their data can identify those who need financial support and how it could be used to boost tenancy sustainment approaches in your organisations.

Please bring along your experiences of tenancy sustainment in relation to income collection and management, what has worked, what hasn’t and what you’re planning for the rent rise, how you will communicate that to tenants and what support you are offering to those who need it.

Best practice groups are free to members and are a fantastic opportunity to hear about what’s happening in the sector and network with fellow housing professionals.

Why you should come to the best practice group:

    • Great way to find out what others are doing
    • Good, honest and open discussions
    • Sharing best practice and ideas with others in similar roles
    • Acts as a sense-check about what people are doing or thinking of doing.

Chaired by Chloe Fletcher, HQN Director
