The topic for this month’s Best Practice Group is Ethnicity Pay Gap Reporting. As housing providers continue to strengthen their pay gaps, understanding how to measure, interpret and act on ethnicity pay data is becoming increasingly important. With ethnicity pay gap reporting expected to become mandatory in the next few years, now is the time to prepare, build robust data collection processes, and understand what the results can tell you about representation, progression, and fairness within your workforce.

We’ll be joined by Elaine Johnson, Director of People at Great Places for practical insights into what ethnicity pay gap reporting involves, how to approach data collection and analysis, and how to turn findings into meaningful action.

As always, most of the session will focus on the issues participants bring. Come ready to share your questions, challenges, and successes related to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion — particularly around ethnicity pay — and gain insights from others navigating similar challenges. Together we can share learning and strengthen good practice across our organisations.
