The Regulator of Social Housing has placed Parasol Homes under review.

The organisation describes itself as “a national specialist housing association providing supported living accommodation for vulnerable adults”.

The Regulator said it is “currently investigating matters which may impact on Parasol’s compliance with the Governance and Financial Viability Standard.”

The organisation, based in Milton Keynes, says it offers “high-quality accommodation and tenancies for life.”

On the company’s website, it also says: “Governance at Parasol Homes is central to our aim to provide long-term, secure and high-quality accommodation for all our tenants.

“We strongly believe in a co-regulatory approach, which allows us to work alongside the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) in a proactive rather than reactive manner.

“We have chosen to comply with the National Housing Federation (NHF) Code of Governance and the NHF Code of Conduct, alongside the Governance and Financial Viability Standard 2015 – this means that we are held to the highest industry standards.”
