Livv Housing Group has received a governance upgrade by the Regulator of Social Housing, now being a G1 organisation.

Previously being upgraded from G3 to G2 in October 2020, this latest judgement sees an impressive return to the top governance rating for the association.

The Regulator said: “Based on evidence gained from an In Depth Assessment (IDA), the regulator now has assurance that LHG has further strengthened its governance arrangements.

“It has established a new simplified group structure that aligns with its refocused corporate objectives and put in place a new risk and internal controls framework which has enhanced the board’s oversight and control of key risks.”

The organisation also kept its V1 rating for viability.

The Regulator added: “Based on evidence gained from the IDA, the regulator continues to have assurance that LHG’s financial plans are consistent with, and support, its financial strategy.

“The provider has an adequately funded business plan, sufficient security in place, and is forecast to continue to meet its financial covenants under a wide range of adverse scenarios.”

The other judgement released by the Regulator was the confirmation that Golden Lane Housing remained a G1/V1 organisation, after news that it had de-merged from Mencap.
