A member would be keen to understand how other social housing providers and managers particular in London, are responding to LFB guidance note 104 in relation to RPEEPs.

As we know RPEEPs legislation came into effect April 6th that places responsibility on building owners and managers to offer RPEEPs to all relevant residents in buildings over 18M and 11M-18M with Simultaneous evacuation however the LFB are now recommending RPEEPs should be offered to residents regardless of building height.

This will be a huge undertaking and require significant resource and budget for building owners and managers across London to deliver.

A member is currently reviewing their approach and would like to understand how others in London are responding to and preparing to comply with the guidance of the LFB.
