I have a query regarding the recovery of debt when a leaseholder is deceased. We have several leaseholders where probate has been awarded but the successor will not play ball in the recovery of debt and there are also those cases where there is a next-of-kin, but they will not apply for probate.

For us, it is a bit of a mine field and especially knowing where to start and what to apply for.  I’d be grateful for any assistance members can provide.
