I’m keen to hear what other organisation do if asbestos is identified in a leasehold block.

I have a property where it’s been identified that we need to remove asbestos, it looks like five days work. There are five flats and its 100% leasehold. The building insurer doesn’t cover the cost of decanting the residents.

Have any other members had this situation? It appears we are going to have to ask them to vacate for five days at their own expense.

Any shared best practice would be appreciated.
