We have a challenging and exciting role for a customer focused individual to join the West Lancashire Borough Council`s Repairs and Servicing Team. You will be a team player who will help us deliver high quality services to our customer around the eradication of damp and mould in our housing stock.

Your role will be to support to the Senior Damp and Disrepair Surveyor, to enable them to deliver the service objectives in line with the corporate plan. You will liaise with contractors to ensure that works are undertaken competently, promptly and in line with budgets.

The role involves planning in and carrying out property surveys, identifying the cause of damp and mould and correctly identifying the remedial works required, and commissioning this work with our contractor. You will be responsible for assessing the required works on disrepair claims and for producing Scott schedules.  You will be part of a small and dedicated team within our Property Services Team.
