West Lancashire Borough Council own and manage circa 5,800 homes across the Skelmersdale and Ormskirk areas. The Property Services Team are looking for an exceptional individual to join our team and make a real difference now and into the future.

You will need to be a team player with proven experience in working in a fast paced environment, you will need to be customer focused to deliver a front line service, that is open to implementing new ways of working, and be solution focused to develop and maintain the Property Services Team into a customer focused, ‘right first time’ service provider.

You will need to able to think strategically and communicate effectively at all levels to build credibility and trust.

The role will principally focus on providing a quantity surveying service throughout the Property Services Team, managing costs relating to construction projects, agreeing final accounts etc, in addition to assisting the Financial Control and Asset Strategy and Investment Manager in the development and subsequent management of the team’s procurement strategy.
