Thanet District Council is  looking for an organised project surveyor to join our amazing team to help manage our cyclical and planned programme of works for the councils social housing stock.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management and contract management skills.

Communication skills will also be essential in this role, as you will need to engage with residents and other stakeholders when delivering projects.

This is a fast paced and exciting role which is key in ensuring the investment into the council’s homes delivers excellent value for money and improves the homes of our residents.

This is a fixed term position for 3 years, covering a secondment to a funded project.

Requirements:

• • • NVQ Level 4 qualifications or equivalent
    • Relevant Building/Contract Management/Maintenance/Surveying qualification.

In addition, it would be beneficial if the post holder has qualifications and/ or industry experience all or some of the following:

• • • CDM
    • Contract Management
    • Public Contract Regulations 2015
    • Risk management and mitigation
    • Section 20 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985.
