• Job description

At First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) we are committed to being a trusted provider of quality homes, delivering excellent landlord and support services, and helping to create thriving and independent communities.

Managing approximately 11,500 homes, we are proud to be an independent, not-for-profit housing association with the highest regulatory (G1/V1) rating.  We also do much more than provide and manage housing, as we care for and support our customers through a range of services to help improve people’s lives.

We are now looking for two outstanding first time or experienced Non-Executive Directors to join us as we embark upon an exciting period of organisational change and growth, as we continue with our Corporate Plan 2022-25.  We have some big and important ambitions for our future as set out in the Corporate Plan (link) and believe there couldn’t be a better time to join our Board.

You must be able to bring considerable strategic leadership experience and fresh perspectives to our Board, we are particularly looking for expertise in skills including finance/accountancy, customer digital, data and technology/transformation.  Alongside professional skills in these areas, you may additionally bring other insights, skills, and experience to FCHO’s Board.

You will demonstrate strategic leadership experience from progressive and people-centric organisations, along with an energetic style and focus on high levels of performance as we deliver the best possible customer and community outcomes.
