Job description
Onward Homes is one of the largest registered providers of social housing in the North West, with 35,000 properties across the region.
We believe that everyone deserves a place to call their own, which is why we’re committed to building 400 new homes each year. We do more than just provide a roof over our customers’ heads, we’re here to make a real difference.
At Onward we’re working towards creating positive spaces, which extends to not only to the communities we serve but to our workplaces being positive spaces that are open, diverse and inclusive. Onward is committed to being a diverse and inclusive organisation in every aspect of our work.
We are looking for a Neighbourhood Delivery Manager (1 post) to join our Neighbourhoods team in Merseyside. If you would like any further information please contact Michelle Peart-Simpson.
Reporting to the regional Head of Neighbourhood Services, you will provide subject matter expertise in housing and tenancy management for all types of tenure for a defined geographical area and providing housing management services to all customers, to agreed targets and standards. You will need to ensure compliance with all regulatory housing management standards.
This post will manage the budgets, resources and priorities of the team ensuring effective and efficient use of resources, to deliver agreed performance targets and customer satisfaction. You will drive culture change across the organisation, based on the eight values of Onward.
To be successful, it is essential you have a proven track record of leading and managing a team to high level performance and customer service. You will be working collaboratively with other teams to deliver housing management services, to customers living in a defined geographical area. You should have experience of housing management regulations and their application in a broad range of specialisms, whilst being able to work with and influence external partners.
To enable us to capitalise on the benefits of more flexible ways of working, for our customers, colleagues and to support sustainability, we have developed Onward ‘WorkSpace’. This is our approach that focuses on work being the thing that we do that makes a difference to our customers, not the place we go. This role is home based and there is no requirement to attend the office daily, but you will be required to attend neighbourhoods and/or sites as required to fulfil duties of the role.
If candidates have any concerns / questions in relation to Covid-19 and the role at any stage of the recruitment and selection process they can contact the HR team on [email protected] and a member of the HR Team will be in touch
