As a Multi Skilled Operative, you will be expected to:

1. • To carry out repairs and maintenance to homes in a safe and proper manner, ensuring works are completed to a consistent high standard in addition to providing our customers with their best experience of customer service.
   • To provide an efficient and effective service as a member of the Operations Team, creating an environment enjoyable to work in, to include colleagues, both trade and office staff as part of your team.

To be successful in a Multi Skilled Operative role, the skills you will need:  

1. • Qualified to a minimum level of City and Guilds NVQ or equivalent (level 3) in Joinery.
   • Experience working in repairs and maintenance in housing services.
   • Experience of working in a building environment and completing repair work in occupied homes and void properties.
   • A knowledge of relevant legislation and/or Codes of Practice i.e. Construction, Building Regulations and Health & Safety.
   • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with homeowners, external agencies and office-based colleagues.
   • Able to plan and prioritise to ensure the effective use of own time.
   • Commitment to providing a high-quality service to all customers.
   • Able to form and maintain good working relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
   • Multi skilled and capable of fitting new kitchens and bathrooms. Must be able to undertake various types of work including Joinery, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting, sheet flooring. ALL work to be of a high standard.
   • Hold full UK driving licence.
   • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate across multiple channels including Microsoft Teams, Face to Face and Email.

Experience or Knowledge of the below would be advantageous but not essential:

1. • Qualified to a minimum level of City and Guilds NVQ or equivalent (level 3) in Joinery or plumbing.
   • Familiar with PDA and other electronic devices.
   • Good numeracy and literacy.
