    IT Tester

    37 hours per week, Fixed Term Contract until December 2024

    We currently have an exciting opportunity for an IT Tester to join our in-house ICT team on a fixed term basis to embark on a major transformation programme.

    We are looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services.

    The role

    As an IT Tester, you will be responsible for the full end-to-end life cycle testing of new IT system implementation’s, including managing and completing test plans, test sheets, defect logs and test closure reports.

    You will be responsible for planning, running and participating in testing activities and workshops. Identify, log and track defects. Evaluate and prioritise defects for resolution and retest.

    You will be contributing to the success of approved projects through quality analysis of requirements to determine required outcomes of each release and delivery. Duties also include conducting testing throughout the development and implementation lifecycle, using a variety of tools and techniques and contributing to the detailed test scenarios to enable assurance of the development.

    What skills and experience we are looking for:

      • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
      • Ability to deliver complex information to a variety of audiences.
      • Self-motivated and driven individual with desire to deliver results.
      • Knowledge of Housing Management systems desirable.
      • Knowledge of NEC Northgate is desirable.
      • Experience of using IT systems and processes.
      • Strong belief in good internal and external customer service.
      • Strong team player with ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
