    Working closely with our senior management team, you’ll shape and own our People & Culture strategy and give support, guidance, and challenge across the full spectrum of all things ‘People’ to help us achieve our ambitious goals whilst evolving our culture in this (not so) new world of hybrid working. Our close working relationship with the council means you will also be working closely and positively with colleagues at CBC.
    You will inspire colleagues across the organisation to achieve for themselves and for our customers and to push the boundaries on delivering overall wellbeing. You will champion innovative thinking across the business to enable CBH to be an employer of choice across Gloucestershire. And drive cultural change which enables every colleague interaction – both with fellow colleagues and our customers – to be neighbourly and wow.
    Key areas of responsibility
    • Develop and implement a People & Culture strategy that supports organisational objectives and goal of being the best place possible to work
    • Lead, coach and develop the People & Culture Team to deliver a proactive and pragmatic service to the business
    • Oversee recruitment and retention, ensuring hiring is managed effectively, and people receive the learning and support they need to thrive here at CBH
    • Drive employee engagement, leading the design and delivery of bespoke initiatives and projects using data and wider feedback to strengthen our culture
