    We are looking for a new Green Space and Biodiversity Manager to lead on the strategic and operational direction of our parks, open spaces and sports pitches. To provide and manage a range of efficient and effective services for the community ensuring value for money and the delivery of high-quality service in line with the Council’s corporate objectives.

    A key focus of the role will be supporting the Council’s ambitious plans to be forward thinking in its role within the climate change agenda and our approach to the management of parks and open spaces for increased biodiversity benefits.

    This is an exciting opportunity to coordinate and manage a range of projects delivered through a combination of capital and S106 funding.

    The post holder will support the Chief Officer for Leisure and Wellbeing and other managers to deliver the Council’s wider corporate objectives.
