We are now looking to recruit a talented and resourceful Furnished Tenancy Officer to join the Councils Tenancy Services Team and to work with colleagues who have set ambitious goals, which will make a real difference now and into the future.

With constantly changing priorities you will be self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision and able to demonstrate a proven track record of dealing with customers, ideally in a social housing environment.  You should be a great communicator with excellent IT skills, which you will need to help provide an excellent and efficient service.

In a busy and challenging environment you will develop and administer West Lancashire Borough Council’s Furnished Tenancy Scheme, ensuring an adequate supply of furniture is available. You will be the first point of contact for clients and contractors, dealing with general enquiries about the Furnished Tenancy scheme.

In addition you will manage the Councils units of Temporary Accommodation for homeless persons ensuring that there are units ready to occupy and available for our out of hours service.
