    Contract Type: Permanent          Contracted Hours: 35 Hours

    The overall purpose of the Finance Manager – Business Partnering is to provide direction, development and management of the Finance Business Partner team (revenue, capital and development expenditure) and to lead in the provision of support to budget holders and stakeholders.

    This includes:

    • Leading and co-ordinating the preparation and overall review of budgets
    • Rolling the budgets forward as a key input into the 30 year Business Plan
    • Overseeing the production of monthly budget holder statements by the Business Partnering team
    • Preparation and presentation of the monthly Management Accounts
    • Preparation of the Quarterly Financial Performance report, including the reforecasts.

    The Finance Manager – Business Partnering will manage the capability and capacity of Business Partnering Team, to ensure that effective support is provided to stakeholders.

    The Finance Manager – Business Partnering works within the overall Finance Team, and has key links with the whole finance team, along with all budget holders within the business.

    The post is key to ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders and is essential to support informed decision making within the business.

    This is a high-profile role with a remit to ensure that the Finance Business Partnering team meet the highest level of customer service, whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory and legislative standards.
