• Job description

The Chair position is vital for the proper and effective operation of the Board, setting the tone and culture, and in consequence, the delivery of success for the whole organisation.

See our microsite for more information.

We are looking for a passionate, people-focussed leader with a track record of leading and motivating senior teams to deliver a strategic vision.

You will already have a good understanding of the social, economic and political environment in which PCH operates, including an understanding of current issues in social housing and non-executive director experience.  Financial awareness and the ability to understand and evaluate budgets, business plans and annual accounts are essential, as are your ambassadorial and people skills.

  • Benefits

Being part of PCH’s diverse Board which includes residents and local authority members will give you a unique insight into social housing, communities, and the people of Plymouth.  You will work together with the staff, Board colleagues, residents and stakeholders to provide affordable homes, great services and support communities – a rewarding, interesting and occasionally challenging role!

We provide a comprehensive and tailored induction and will continue to develop the Board’s knowledge and skill with regular training.

See our microsite for more information.
