The Social Housing Bill is moving through Parliament. We expect it to be enacted by the end of the year. It will impact all housing associations, councils and ALMOs.

Find out about what’s being proposed – so you can prepare for what’s likely to come.

The Bill’s key proposals focus on protecting social housing stock, reforming Right to Buy, strengthening protections for victims of domestic abuse, and reducing unnecessary bureaucracy so providers can invest in new and existing homes with greater confidence.

HQN associate Tim Brown and legal experts from Birketts will provide a clear, practical briefing on the Bill, and the implications for your organisation.

    The session will cover:

    • What is proposed and the likely timeline
    • Practical implications for housing management, legal, safeguarding, governance, finance, assets and development teams
    • The key questions landlords should be asking now
    • The steps you should be taking – policy, resident communications, data and board assurance.
