    At this session, Toria Buzza, Head of Community and Tenant Engagement at ForHousing will give an overview of their ‘Understanding our Communities’ project which used Asset Based Community Development principles to understand the resources in a community, engagement with members of the community who they don’t normally hear from and helped ForHousing understand how best to work alongside tenants and communities. The session will cover why they did it, how they did it and the implications for ForHousing.

    Toria has worked in housing for 10 years and heads up communities and tenant involvement at ForHousing.

    She is passionate about volunteering and communities, with a strong interest in asset-based approaches and co-production. In her spare time, she is a passionate volunteer and is the Chair of Cheshire West Voluntary Action and Secretary and 7-a-side Captain for Penny Lane FC.
