The Residents’ Network is pleased to announce its latest series of best practice groups, giving attendees the opportunity to network and share best practice with fellow members.

In this series, we will be joined by Debbie Larner. Lead associate for Health and Safety at HQN to discuss Building and Fire Safety from the resident’s perspective. During the resident session, we will discuss the following questions:

  • What does Health and Safety in your home mean to you?
  • How can we ensure we engage with residents on this subject?

The staff session will then discuss what has been learnt from the residents and how can this be used in their own organisations.

In the final joint session, we can identify some good practice ideas for the network to publicise.

As always, the session will be facilitated by Elaine Warwick, and take place via zoom. Members can book on to either the Resident session or the Housing provider session, and then can book onto the joint session as well.

This best practice group will be a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is new to the network, or has not attended a best practice group before.

Why come to the best practice group?

    • Great to find out what others are doing
    • Good honest and open discussions
    • Sharing best practice and ideas with others in similar roles
    • Acts as a sense-check about what people are doing or thinking of doing.

We look forward to seeing you there!
