As compliance expectations evolve under Awaab’s Law and wider regulatory reform, asset management teams are facing a new challenge: risk is no longer always visible in the places we expect.

While traditional asset data provides a strong foundation, many of today’s emerging risks sit across repairs history, complaints, contractor insight and resident interactions. Without a connected view, these signals can remain hidden, only surfacing when issues escalate into formal hazards or compliance breaches.

This interactive session will explore how asset teams can better identify and act on these early warning signs. Drawing on sector insight and real-world examples, we’ll look at how organisations are connecting data across functions, managing overlapping compliance timelines, and building a clearer, more proactive view of risk across their portfolios.

Attendees will leave with practical ideas to:

    • Recognise where hidden risk may sit within their organisation
    • Connect data across asset, repairs and customer functions
    • Strengthen compliance assurance through earlier intervention
    • Support more informed, defensible decision-making.
