Legionella is a deadly waterborne bacterium. As social landlords, you have a legal duty to protect tenants from it. It is one of the “big seven” compliance risks – indeed, the Regulator’s Safety and Quality Standard states:

“Registered providers must identify and meet all legal requirements that relate to the health and safety of tenants in their homes and communal areas.”

You must also report annually against the TSM BS04 – water safety checks.

Mike Victory-Rowe, HQN’s expert on compliance and author of HQN’s Legionella toolkit, will take you through what is required by the legislation, the process and record keeping you need to have in place to ensure you keep on top of compliance and what the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) is looking for.

He will help you take proactive steps to assess, manage and control Legionella risks in your properties to ensure tenant safety and regulatory compliance.

All delegates will receive a copy of HQN’s recently published Legionella toolkit.

If you’re involved in and have responsibility for water safety and Legionella testing in homes and communal areas, you’ll find this workshop essential.
