    Join HQN Associate, Helen Muir for this practical, interactive best practice group where we’ll provide useful tips and advice on processing Right to Buy and Right to Acquire applications, drawing on good practice across the sector and looking at how to manage the process effectively, to meet statutory timescales. This is also an opportunity for members to share and discuss what processes they have adopted to manage Right to Buy and Right to Acquire applications.

    As part of this session, we’ll also discuss the government’s consultation on the options to reform the Right to Buy and the feedback received on it, if available.

    This is not a training session but a place to share best practice and get useful hints and tips.

    Helen Muir

    Helen has extensive experience of shared ownership, having worked in senior roles for two large housing groups where her responsibilities included sales programme delivery and the management of over 5,000 shared ownership/leasehold homes, along with running the largest Help to Buy agency in England.

    As a consultant Helen specialises in affordable home ownership and leasehold management, and has provided interim management and strategic and operational support to a number of registered providers, local authorities and private sector companies. Helen also supports the Leasehold Network, writing briefings and speaking at several events.
