Keeping homes safe, healthy and compliant is a fundamental responsibility for social landlords. With increasing regulatory scrutiny, Awaab’s Law and strengthened expectations around property standards, understanding legal obligations is essential. This practical course helps housing professionals identify hazards, manage risks and protect residents effectively.

With increasing expectations around property conditions, hazard management and resident safety, housing professionals need to understand not only what the law requires but how to put those responsibilities into practice.

This course takes delegates through the key legislation, common property hazards and the practical steps needed to maintain safe and compliant homes. Particular attention is given to identifying risks early, responding effectively to concerns and understanding how good property management supports regulatory compliance, reduces organisational risk and delivers better outcomes for residents.
