Under the Breathing Space Scheme people are given legal protection from their creditors for 60 days, including landlords and social housing providers’. The Debt Respite scheme came into force on the 4 May 2021.

    • Explain the legal protections which include pausing most enforcement action and contact from creditors during the period Breathing Space is claimed
    • Provide an update on how StepChange debt advisors are finding the scheme in practice
    • Outline the process social housing providers should follow
    • Talk about their new online referral service.

  • Cancellations and substitutions

    A full refund will be given if a cancellation is made 28 calendar days or more prior to the event, and a 50% refund if a cancellation is made 15-27 calendar days prior to the event. We regret that no refund can be given if a cancellation is made 14 calendar days or less before the event.

    Cancellations must be made in writing, and will be acknowledged by HQN Limited.
