This focused session aims to help you ensure compliance with Awaab’s Law, which comes into force on 27 October 2025, as set out in the Hazards in Social Housing (Prescribed Requirements) (England) Regulations 2025.

It addresses damp and mould hazards (and emergency hazards) within mandated timeframes, ensuring tenant safety, clear communication and robust recordkeeping to mitigate legal risks.

HQN expert Wayne Hughes, author of our recent model for compliance, will take delegates through the definitions, exceptions and defences, supporting systems and policies to ensure you haven’t missed anything.

If you don’t meet the timeframes set out in the law, you could face court action and increasing disrepair cases.  This practical workshop is essential for directors and managers of assets and repairs, along with their teams. It is designed for anyone involved in reviewing and improving processes and systems for effectively managing damp and mould and meeting Awaab’s Law requirements.
