HQN events focus on delivering highly targeted, thought provoking and impactful events delivered to each of its specialist member networks.

We are successful as we have our finger on the pulse of what our members are telling us. Each network has its own schedule of events which are practically focused and centred around ‘how’ we improve with the day-to-day operations and innovate with the latest best practice on the market. Our events strive to equip members with the practical skills, knowledge, and know-how they need to take back to the day job and implement new ideas into actions.

Our events are currently being hosted virtually we can support with hosting a face-to-face event with you in person at a chosen location.

Best practice workshops

Our best practice workshops are an interactive opportunity for you to host your own event with our network members which showcases the best of your business, your innovation, and your expertise. Best practice workshops are exclusively run by our partners and are solutions focussed to enable our members to overcome sector challenges. They are free for our members to attend, encouraging a good virtual footfall which can be enjoyed from the ease of your own home or office.

You will be able to select the theme of the event in partnership with HQN, choose from a flexible list of dates, select targeted attendees, have the option to have us invite other expert speakers as required, and have support with creating a marketing plan for your event, which would include support with a pre and post marketing campaign.

The webinar will be recorded, sharable with attendees and your wider business. We will also help with the distribution of any presentations, supporting documents and materials to delegates before, during and after the webinar.

Network conferences

Sponsoring a HQN event provides a fantastic networking opportunity for you to reach senior social housing decision makers and align your business’s expertise, services, and products to a captive audience. Supporting our events as a sponsor ensures your business is strategically positioned at the fore of our network members’ minds as they associate your business with a niche subject.

Topical events

We have over 200 topic-based events every year which to the latest sector challenges. Collaborate with us in designing one of these, or sponsor and be involved in an existing one.

Our topical events are a great way to support and inspire tenants and landlords across the housing sector to adopt new ways of working. Our events will usually feature multiple sessions, keynotes, breakouts, and panel discussions.

Strategic roundtables

Our strategic roundtables offer your business a premium engagement opportunity to hold a close debate with senior professionals in the sector, confront challenges and propose meaningful solutions. Our roundtables are moderated by our Senior Content Editor who will be on hand to discuss possible themes and topics, facilitate the session, pose questions, involve participants, and collate responses for you to take back to your business for further discussion. You will have the opportunity to invite your own delegates and will have the option for us to invite our own contacts. Roundtables are usually made up of 8-12 delegates.

You also can upgrade to our connect package, which provides you a double page spread write up in our Housing Quality Magazine of your roundtable discussion and findings, plus an online feature, alongside a branding sponsorship to a chosen event on our schedule.

Virtual events

Virtual events offer our members the flexibility to learn at a time that suits them and balance their workload accordingly. They also facilitate interaction with other delegates, whom they might not usually be able to interact with, providing rich content with the exchange of knowledge and new ideas.

For your business, this means benefitting from high footfall, the ability to engage with a diverse range of attendees at your event and broaden your horizons with attendee targeting more widely. We are gradually phasing our return to face-to-face hybrid events, however HQN virtual events will continue to guarantee a return on your investment and have a place on our schedule.

Having run over 200 virtual events in 2021, we are pro’s in developing an exciting virtual experience for our delegates. Depending on your chosen event style, we ensure we utilise breakout rooms, whiteboards, live chat and speaker call out question and answers to make for an unforgettable humanistic, dynamic event.

As a sponsor and partner to the event, you will have opportunity to greet delegates, introduce your business, have your branding across presentations, close the event with 1-1 discussions, circulate your related business information, have copies of the recording and follow up with attendees direct.
