    The main purpose of the role is to ensure Northampton Partnership Homes maximises its rental and service charge income, whilst ensuring that debt levels are minimised. You will be performance focused and customer focused and highly self-motivated to achieve the quarterly and yearly targets, whilst also being able to provide advice and support to those experiencing difficulty with rent payments with a view to ensuring tenancies are sustained.

     

    You should have previous experience of working in a debt recovery field and knowledge of welfare reforms changes (including Universal Credit) is essential.

     

    Key responsibilities are:

    • To maximise rental income collection but ensuring key principles of customer care are adhered to
    • Providing advice and support to those customers experiencing difficulty with rent payments
    • Negotiating repayment arrangements and taking enforcement action
    • Be fully conversant with County Court procedures, including presenting cases at Court
