Golden Lane Housing Limited is a Community Benefits Society who works with people with a learning disability to provide supported housing around which they can build their lives and to help tackle the immense challenges that people with a learning disability face in finding a home.

The Accountant will support the Senior Finance Reporting Accountant and  be central to the smooth delivery of the Finance function, ensuring strong financial controls  and accurate and timely financial reporting.

The Accountant will develop an in-depth knowledge of the company, the financial systems and processes as well as its operating environment and ensure that financial policies are adhered to.

The Accountant will support the SFRA in the production of the timely and accurate monthly management information (MIT) as well as year-end accounts and all reports to the Regulator as well as in all Tax matters ( VAT returns, corporation tax and PAYE). The Accountant will support the SFRA during the External Audit.

The Accountant will be directly responsible for the co-ordination of the GLH’s internal audit program and the preparation of the reports to be presented by the SFRA to the RAC meetings.

The Accountant will support the AP/AR Manager and the SFRA when needed to ensure that great customer care is delivered by the finance function.
