Onward Repairs are Onward Homes in house contractor and are one of the largest contractors in the area and we aim to deliver a high-quality flexible service to our customers ensuring our homes remain fit for the future.

We operate across the Lancashire region providing all day-to-day repairs and vacant properties repairs, gas servicing and out of hours service to our customers.

What we are looking for:

Sound knowledge of Electrical components and fittings.
Experience of carrying out Electrical servicing and repairs.
Proven ability to deliver a quality customer centred repairs service.
Proven ability to work to required standards.
Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations, regulation and ACOPS relevant to the post and associated tasks undertaken within it, in line with HASAWA 1974.
Essential requirements:

Qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 (recognised Electrical trade qualification).
Code of Practice for Electrical Safety or similar electrical qualification for Fixed Electrical Equipment and Portable Appliance Testing regimes.
Appropriate CSCS card.
Qualified to 2391 18th Ed amendment 2 (Testing & Inspection) or equivalent qualification.
Desirable requirements:

Experience of PV and ASHP systems and working within a commercial and domestic property maintenance environment.
Experience of delivering services within the social housing sector.
Ability to use PDA technology (handheld/mobile working technology).
The role may involve participation in an emergency ‘out of hours’ service as required on a rota basis which includes weekend work. This is in addition to the contractual hours for which you will received and additional compensation.

Our Onward Repairs head office is based in Accrington, but you should be prepared to travel across Lancashire to cover our repair’s service.
