Wellbeing at work is becoming increasingly more important. Encouraging ‘wellbeing at work’ positively impacts on employee’s engagement and performance.

Worry is distressing in itself and it also impairs a person’s ability to resolve problems. Some people have got into the ‘habit’ of worrying – as soon as one problem is resolved they find the next one.

We live in demanding times. Sometimes it is difficult for individuals and companies to acknowledge just how stressful things are – everyone wants to be seen as coping well with the pressures that are placed on them.

This course explores what is meant by wellbeing and considers how organisations could better promote wellbeing in the workplace.

It will explore what it means to be “serious about wellbeing” and how this impacts on organisational practices. It will explore different tools and techniques with real life good practice examples.
