Trust is central to effective communication and this session will explain how to use authentic messaging to build credibility and influence.

Drawing on examples from annual reports to major public service campaigns, we’ll look at why a lot of core communication fails to land and what works instead. The focus is practical, human and grounded in everyday organisational reality.

This session is designed for teams involved in communication, engagement, strategy, policy, tenant involvement or leadership. It explores how authentic stories – told by the right people, in the right way – can strengthen trust with residents and increase influence with stakeholders.

Attendees can expect clear frameworks, real-world examples, and practical tools they can apply to reports, campaigns, engagement activity and everyday communications.
