Many landlords are struggling with stock condition surveys and failures with Decent Homes compliance. Don’t risk a C4 rating for your consumer standards. Find out how to tackle non-decency and get to grips with your stock condition.

Gaps in stock condition data and noncompliance with the Decent Homes Standard have been some of the key reasons behind the first year’s C3 and C4 ratings.

Our masterclass will lead you through the issues associated with meeting and evidencing that you meet the Decent Homes Standard.

Mike Victory-Rowe, asset management expert and HQN Associate, will take delegates through the expectations of the Regulator of Social Housing on decency, exploring requirements around stock quality, asset data and intelligence as well as listening to what your tenants say about the quality of their home.

We’ll take a look at the future and examine:

    • The implications of proposed changes such as mandatory electrical safety testing and a new minimum energy efficiency standard
    • What a Decent Homes Standard 2 might include.

We’ll consider all the implications plus the different options and solutions.

Delegates will go away with a much better understanding of the questions you should be asking and addressing:

    • The current requirements of the Decent Homes Standard
    • Expectations from the RSH on quality stock condition survey data
    • Proposals on new EPC metrics and minimum energy efficiency standards
    • Proposals on electrical safety testing
    • Proposals on Awaab’s Law – damp and mould
    • HHSRS standards and the proposed changes
    • Tenant satisfaction measures.
