Social landlord VIVID has acquired 378 properties from fellow housing provider L&Q, with a further 30 to complete shortly.

Of the transferring properties, 371 are homes. VIVID says the strategic acquisition will significantly enhance its capacity to provide quality, affordable housing to families and individuals, allowing it to focus more intensely on meeting their needs.

The properties, located mainly in Basingstoke with some in Wiltshire, Test Valley and Berkshire, will be integrated into VIVID’s existing portfolio.

Tom Robinson, Executive Director of Assets and Sustainability at VIVID, said: “This acquisition supports our vision and commitment to growing the provision of safe and affordable housing in our region. We look forward to working with our new customers and continuing to build vibrant, sustainable communities.”
