Open Banking is reshaping how customers make and receive payments and can offer endless benefits to housing associations. Besides payments, Open Banking can offer insight into a customer’s financial position, informing decisions such as new tenancy affordability, eligibility for benefits and setting an appropriate debt repayment plan with a customer.

During this session we will define and provide an overview of Open Banking whilst exploring how it can benefit social landlords. We will take a deep dive in to our newly launched, Customer Support Tool, which utilises open banking rails to digitise and automate the process of being able to provide money advice to a customer in need of financial support.

The Customer Support Tool is a new product to PayPoint’s suite of solutions, and we are excited to showcase how it can add value to the sector alongside customers who are actively using the service. The tool was built in collaboration with Citzens Advice Bureau (CAB) together with PayPoint’s Strategic Account Manager, Alice Loukaides.

We are delighted to be joined by live customer, Mascha Collier from CAB, Stevenage. Mascha will be offering her insights and experience of using the tool and will be able to answer practical questions from the audience.  Mascha will be joined by Ryan, Advice Quality and Operations Manager at CAB, Stevenage, who will also share his feedback on the tool and how it has transformed process for the better within CAB.
