Welcome to your weekly, sorry, utterly sporadic climate change roundup, in which I round up climate change stories, sporadically.

A man has written something warning the 25% of Scottish people that apparently aren’t concerned about record-breaking global temperatures that maybe they’ll be more concerned by spiralling food costs. Well, we’ll see, won’t we. Here is the something the man has written.

Everybody’s favourite laughably biased, hysterical, deranged and childish ‘news’ outlet GB News has pounced on a report from the Institute for Public Policy Research, enabling it to festoon its article with the feverish headline ‘Climate change blamed on WHITE MEN in new study’.

Expecting the whole piece to be a delirious diatribe expanding on the incendiary headline, I was surprised to find it’s almost entirely a straight report about the report. A HUGE opportunity missed SURELY? Now, can I bring myself to provide a link to GB News? I’ll try… Nope, can’t do it. Ask Google.

And here’s almost a companion piece for the above tale – in that it’s no doubt as likely to enrage a certain ‘mindset’. According to a “growing body of evidence”, woman are 14 times more likely to die in climate change-related mayhem than men. Wait till GB News get hold of that! Anyway, I’ve no objection linking to this story, so click here.

A man from Fiji who’s lived in Bangor for decades has a cautionary tale. His plans to return to the old country have been frustrated because global warming-driven coastal erosion is dragging his home village into the sea. Video of the man talking about this awfulness here.

Hot news – literally: New Delhi is the latest unfortunate conurbation to experience a record-breaking heatwave. With temperatures hovering around 50C, the authorities have warned that heat-related deaths are expected. Read more about this latest horrorshow here.
