We are looking for an Electrician to join our successful Home Repairs Service.

Our Electricians are responsible for carrying out high quality re-wires and repair works and undertaking electrical installation works of both 230v and 415v systems. The successful candidate will diagnosis and repair faults and perform final testing to include the completion of relevant certification.

Our Electrical Team also ensure all works are carried out in line with regulations and in compliance with relevant H&S legislation, policy and safe working practices.

All of our operatives receive a company van when they join us, so a full driving licence is required.

Other responsibilities:

1. • Install and maintain energy saving / carbon reducing electrical and related technology
   • Diagnosis and repair of faults and final testing, to include the completion of relevant certification and reporting of defects
   • Working on an on-going testing and upgrading programme

About you:

You will hold a current electrical qualification and have proven working knowledge of the current edition of BS7671. You will have demonstrable experience of working within H&S legislation, alongside the ability to manage the risk associated with lone working.

It would also be great if you had:

1. • City and Guilds 2391.
   • AM1 and AM2 Practical examinations.

With experience in working in a customer service environment, you will also be able to provide high levels of service and adopt the right first-time approach.

You will need to work at any location from where we operate, including any partner organisations or customer locations in line with your job. You will be assigned a specific area where the majority of your work will take place, however you may need to attend other areas when the business requires.
