What you’ll do

We’re excited to be looking for a new Paralegal to join our busy in-house legal team.

If you have at least one year of civil litigation experience this could be the role for you. You’ll be a great team player and willing to learn quickly. You’ll pay close attention to detail and timescales, and be dependable and enthusiastic.

You will oversee a litigation caseload, from sending initial letters to issuing county court claims. Preparing court documents and analysing evidence are key parts of the role.

You’ll support Abri to comply with its statutory and regulatory responsibilities to ensure our homes are safe, habitable and well-maintained. The wellbeing of our customers is at the heart of everything we do – it’s our priority to make sure our homes are safe and managed to the highest standards. This role is critical to Abri providing great customer service.

No two days will be the same, so a can-do attitude and a genuine passion for always wanting to go the extra mile are essential as you will be responsible for:

1. • Collaborating with colleagues to gather information to answer legal queries;
   • Collating documents to defend housing condition claims;
   • Drafting letters and court papers for tenancy enforcement action, such as access injunctions
   • Communicating with the court, barristers and solicitors

You’ll have the confidence to engage with colleagues and stakeholders using your excellent people skills and pro-activeness to support Abri’s in-house legal team.
