    Delivering on our Ambition

Warrington Housing Association is an award-winning, not-for-profit provider of over 1,350 homes throughout Warrington.  Our vision is to work with and for our customers to help make Warrington a great place to live, in which the potential of individuals and communities can be realized.

Having delivered on our previous Business Plan, we now embark on a new ambitious journey in the context of a challenging external environment and a time when the reputation of our sector and the scrutiny which we are under has never been more pronounced.

    Board Chair – £6,035 p.a.

We are seeking a strong candidate to be our Chair; someone who can work collaboratively with our Board members, colleagues and customers of our organization to help achieve our vision and priorities.

Preferably candidates will have previous experience of non-executive Board level work and some understanding of social housing policy, combined with a strong commercial outlook and strong stakeholder engagement skills.

We seek to reflect the communities we serve within our Board composition and we recognize both our moral obligations and the business benefits of diversity.  We welcome approaches from all sections of the community but encourage applications from under-represented groups.

Our Board members are expected to prepare for and attend up to 6 meetings each year and to attend annual strategy days, training, and appraisals.
