    What you’ll be doing

    We are looking for a Tenancy Sustainment Advisor to deliver the anti-social behaviour and domestic abuse function, tenancy management, enforcement and safeguarding across Neighbourhood, enabling our customers to sustain their tenancies and remain safe in their homes. You will also work collaboratively with the District Teams and Customer Resolution Centre in areas of expertise while maintaining strong relationships with key partners internally and externally in line with CHP’s corporate objectives.

      • To investigate incidents of anti-social behaviour to resolution; in line with CHP’s anti-social behaviour policy to ensure that correct timescales are adhered to.
      • To provide housing-related support and advice to survivors of domestic abuse, in line with CHP’s domestic abuse policy, and signpost survivors to appropriate support services.  Ensure that correct referrals are completed, and any professional meetings attended to provide ongoing support.  Ensure all avenues are explored to keep customers safe in their home, or arrange management moves if approved by CHP’s Housing Panel or a relevant Team Manager.
      • To recognise and provide specialist advice to CHP Employees and customers over concerns for Safeguarding, ensuring that correct referrals are completed, and detailed records kept of work completed in line with CHP’s Protecting People from Harm (Safeguarding) Policy.
      • To work closely with perpetrators of Anti-Social Behaviour ensuring support is in place to help and assist them in sustaining their tenancy and to avoid court action being taken.
      • To request and attend multi-agency meetings and to provide written reports for these meetings to ensure our customers are supported effectively.  This would include but is not limited to MARAC Meetings, Child in Need and Child Protection meetings, PSG Meetings, Mental Health Forums and Community Trigger Review meetings.

     

    What we are looking for

      • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
      • Attention to detail.
      • IT skills, eg, databases.
      • Experience of working in a customer focussed role with proven ability to deal with conflict and difficult conversations
      • Proven experience of applying The Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 and representing organisations in Court.

     

    This role requires completion of CSAS accreditation.
