    Longhurst Group are seeking a dynamic, experienced and highly organised Personal Assistant to support our Chief Information Officer (CIO) in a brand new role. This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our leadership team and contribute to our ongoing success.

    As a Personal Assistant to the CIO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the CIO’s office. You will provide high-level administrative support, manage complex schedules, and handle various tasks to help the CIO focus on strategic initiatives and responsibilities.

    Key Responsibilities:

      • Manage the CIO’s calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings, including video conferences and travel arrangements.
      • Prepare and organise documents, reports, and presentations for the CIO, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
      • Screen and prioritise emails and communications, responding on behalf of the CIO when appropriate.
      • Act as a liaison between the CIO and internal/external stakeholders, including staff, clients..
      • Conduct research and gather information on various topics as requested by the CIO.
      • Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets and expenses related to the CIO’s office.
      • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
      • Handle special projects and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the CIO.

     

    The Personal Assistant role is offered on a permanent, part-time basis – we’re open to applicants who are looking to work between 22.5 & 25 hours per week, spread across 5 days.

    This is a hybrid role, mostly home-based with some expectation of travel for meetings / training across our geography (Midlands & East of England). There are also options to spend time working across our offices (Boston, Rushden, Peterborough or Walsall) if you prefer; our CIO regularly works across both Rushden and Boston once a week so there may be planned days to work together.
