    We’re looking for a Governance Advisor to join our busy governance team. The role is offered on a six month fixed term contract, providing cover for the current post holder’s maternity leave. We want to make sure the board, committees and wider business continue to receive a service second to none.

    You’ll be supporting the Company Secretary and Head of Governance to ensure that Abri follows good governance practices and complies with legal and regulatory requirements. This includes:

      • providing governance related support to the board and committees
      • working collaboratively with colleagues across Abri to ensure good quality, timely reporting and communications through the governance structure
      • leading on assurance activities within the team to ensure continuous high standards of governance throughout the Group

    You’ll possess a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, and have experience of supporting boards and committees. You’ll have excellent minute taking and report writing skills, and a positive ‘can do’ approach.

    You’ll be someone who isn’t be afraid to bring forward new ideas and challenge where we can improve – we don’t just want to do things the way they’ve always been done, we want do things even better!
