    Job Title: Finance Officer (Temporary, for a fixed term to cover maternity leave – up to 12 months)

    Hours: 26 hours and 48 minutes Per Week (Part time, 4 days a week, to be worked flexibly in line with business needs)
    Salary: £17,682.21 to £20,542.56 (dependant on experience) Grade E/F, per annum.


    Location: Based in our offices in Gadbrook Park, Northwich.

    Flexibility to work from a variety of places including our office at Gadbrook Park, Northwich and home (dependent on the job role and the needs of our customer, our organisation and our teams)

    The Opportunity

    This is a varied role which will include monthly and year end accounts, budget preparation and monitoring with a particular emphasis on the Trusts Repairs and Maintenance service.  In addition to this you will also contribute to the day-to-day operation of the Trusts Rent Accounting activities.

    What Will You Do?

    You will hold a relevant accountancy or business qualification e.g., AAT qualified (or equivalent qualification or level of experience) and have sound knowledge of accounting procedures and be experienced in the use of Financial Systems including Microsoft packages.

    You will be reliable, flexible, have excellent time management skills and be able to work to tight deadlines.

    Minimum Requirements For This Role

      • Minimum of 5 Grade GCSE 4-9 / A* – C (including Math’s and English) or equivalent level of qualification(s)
      • A relevant accountancy or business qualification. E.g. AAT, degree or equivalent, or equivalent level of operational experience.
      • Relevant experience in a financial environment
      • Experience of financial and Management accounts preparation
      • Experience of budget preparation and budgetary control

     

    Additionally, due to the flexible working arrangements with this role, you will need access to a room where you can work from and a suitable internet connection.
