    You will be responsible for leading and managing our asset management and regeneration functions, ensuring that we maximise the value and performance of our property portfolio, deliver high-quality maintenance and improvement services, and create sustainable and vibrant places for our residents and communities. You will also play a key role in developing and implementing our corporate strategy, business plans and objectives, working collaboratively with the Board, the Chief Executive, the Executive Team and other senior managers.

    Job Purpose

      • Lead the development and implementation of the Asset Management Strategy and Investment Plans.
      • Ensure the effective delivery of routine and cyclical maintenance across the property portfolio.
      • Ensure that consultants, contractors and direct staff work together effectively to deliver overall asset management and development service to quality and cost thresholds.
      • Lead the formulation of the development strategy and resultant action plans. Lead on new build opportunities, manage the delivery of the development programme and supervise project teams.
      • Ensure the organisation meets its obligations under the Building Safety Act and property compliance and safety standards and regulations.
      • Form and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders ensuring that high quality reporting and communications are provided when required.

     

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you will need to have a relevant professional qualification and/or extensive experience in asset management, regeneration. Moreover, you should also be able to lead, motivate and develop teams and individuals effectively and possess an in-depth understanding of the social housing sector and the regulatory framework that governs it. Your track record should showcase the successful execution of complex projects and programmes within budgetary and time constraints. Dedication to delivering exceptional customer service, promoting social value and exceptional communication and negotiation abilities are vital. Above all, your character should reflect an unwavering commitment to involvement of residents, personal integrity, professionalism and accountability.
