    Directorate of Property Services Contract Surveyor (Permanent)

    Salary: £37,081 per annum pro rata (Plus Regular User Mileage Allowance)

    37 hours per week (to be worked flexibly in line with business needs) Working across various locations within Cheshire but with some remote working

The Property Directorate is seeking to recruit a Contract Surveyor to work within the Assets Team. The Directorate is responsible for the procurement and delivery of works up to the value of £15 million annually, based in the Trust’s portfolio of over 6,200 properties. This is an exciting opportunity to join an existing, pro-active surveying team delivering an essential role to ensure the effective management and upkeep of our housing stock.

    You will provide a surveying function covering day-to-day repairs inspections, diagnosing defects, damp surveys, disrepair, stock condition surveys, fire door inspections, adaptation works, asset validation inspections and specifying material and resource requirements and where required specialist sub-contractors.

    We are looking for candidates who are knowledgeable and passionate about surveying, who care about delivering excellent customer service, have health and safety at the forefront of what they do and who are focussed on delivering cost effective services and achieving value for money. Candidates will need to work closely with a variety of teams across the Trust, especially with operational team leaders and managers, and must support the Senior Surveyor in continually meeting targets and deadlines.

    The surveying team is continually looking to improve and all candidates will need to demonstrate a pro-active approach to support this aim.
