    Choice Based Lettings Officer

    £27,375.43 per annum plus Essential Car User Allowance

    Stafford with hybrid working

     

    Hours:
    37 hours per week, fixed term until November 2024 to cover maternity leave

    We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Choice based Lettings Officer to join our Voids and Lettings Officer team on a fixed term basis covering maternity leave until November 2024.

    We are looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services.

    The role

    As a Choice Based Lettings Officer, you will be responsible for the effective management of the housing register, including housing transfer request across Stafford and South Staffordshire.

    You will be required to work across our Group offices within Staffordshire and Shropshire, therefore you will need a full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle to use for work purposes.

      • Experience of understanding the Lettings policy and the current application and allocation process offered by Homes Plus
      • Experience of working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to generate joined up solutions to problems
      • Knowledge of legislation and best practise regarding housing issues, homelessness and immigration legislation
      • Experience of current housing management systems including Active H and Northgate
      • A ‘can do’ proactive approach to problem solving
      • Customer-focused, with the ability to communicate effectively and concisely, displaying good interpersonal skills in multiple modes (phone, face-to-face, emails and in writing) using customer friendly language.
      • A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
